China has urged the United Kingdom to ensure a fair and non-discriminatory business landscape for Chinese enterprises as the two nations aim to enhance cooperation and bolster their bilateral relationship. This appeal came during the 11th China-UK Strategic Dialogue held in Beijing, where Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi expressed China’s desire for the UK to create supportive conditions for Chinese businesses, thereby fostering the ongoing development of ties between the countries.
Wang highlighted the resumption of exchanges and cooperation across various sectors following recent high-level interactions between China and the UK. He stressed the need for continuous dialogue, the expansion of practical cooperation, and the upholding of multilateralism amid current global uncertainties.
