Benoit Blanc’s next case pits him against a conspiracy of silence. The first teaser for Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery suggests a story where an entire congregation may be hiding the truth about the murder of their priest, forcing the detective to break through a wall of secrets.
Daniel Craig returns as Blanc, who must solve the “impossible” murder of a clergyman (Josh Brolin) killed during Mass. The teaser creates an atmosphere of paranoia and mistrust, where every parishioner is a potential liar, and the community itself may be protecting a killer.
This secretive congregation is brought to life by a star-studded cast, including Glenn Close, Kerry Washington, and Mila Kunis. Blanc, with his sharp new suit and longer hair, appears as an outsider determined to expose the darkness lurking beneath the surface of this seemingly devout community.
The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and is now set for a global release. Wake Up Dead Man will challenge audiences to break the conspiracy of silence in select theaters from November 26th and on Netflix from December 12th.
