China Airlines has inaugurated a new daily route linking Taichung with Okinawa, enhancing its presence in Japan and boosting its weekly round-trip flights between Taiwan and Japan to over 170. This new connection is serviced by an Airbus A321neo, with flight CI310 taking off from Taichung at 10:00 a.m. and touching down in Okinawa at 12:40 p.m. The return journey, flight CI311, departs Okinawa at 1:40 p.m., arriving back in Taichung at 2:10 p.m.
In an effort to further expand services, China Airlines is set to introduce an additional daily flight starting August 13. Flight CI312 will leave Taichung at 3:20 p.m., reaching Okinawa by 6:00 p.m. The corresponding return flight, CI313, is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. departure from Okinawa, landing in Taichung at 7:30 p.m.
With the introduction of these new flights, along with existing routes from Taipei and Kaohsiung, China Airlines will be operating approximately 30 round-trip flights to Okinawa each week. This expansion is significant as it reinforces the connectivity between Taiwan and Japan, providing more options for both business travelers and tourists.
